a sLight obsession

I know that thus far I have shown you a lot of food, but sadly, I don't get to bake and decorate as often as I would like. Therefore, I am going to branch out to some other art-forms that I have been playing with. Today's media: photography. I am still learning how to compose, but I will stay true to presenting exactly what comes out of my camera... #nofilters

When I was looking through pictures of my travels this year, I noticed a slight obsession with lamp posts. The pictures posted here are actually just a fraction of the lamp posts I had captured... I think I like the way they add dark lines against a colorful background, the way they add definition to a typical landscape. Some are straight and classic, while others have a bunch of embellishments. I think it is interesting how their sculpture adds character to cities all over the world.
