I started this blog to support my alter ego. I am a bioengineer, but the right side of my brain has always fought with the left, and I have always used random artistic pursuits as my release. I have no training in the arts, no real expertise, just a passion. So, bear with me and the simplicity, rawness, and inexperience in what I share. I hope you enjoy it!
The title of the blog is inspired by my food art. I am not much of a cook, and I opt for very quick and easy recipes. To me, the fun is all in the decoration and presentation. You will see a bunch of cakes and desserts on this blog, and I will showcase some of my past projects as well. I hope my palette pleases your palate!
I will also add entries about my other artistic pursuits...painting, dance, and photography. I will post my own work as well as work by others that inspires me. There will be a few running themes through the entries: 1. a hint of nerdiness, 2. vegetarian/eggless recipes, 3. cost-effective ingredients and materials, 4. color! and 5. notes of my Indian heritage.
