The perfect end to our Sunday was dinner with our friends A & F at the famed Cafe Jacqueline, in the North Beach part of San Francisco. The French bistro is known for its souffles, both savory and sweet. The souffles are HUGE, and literally a work of art! The staff is super sweet and helpful--they gave us a bunch of recommendations on what to order, and a trip to the adorable kitchen gives you the opportunity to meet Chef Jacqueline herself in the midst of the wonderful aromas from her magical baking cove. Cafe Jacqueline was one of Steve Jobs's favorite restaurants (I totally see why), and he had his non-alcoholic bachelor party there!
The best part of the evening was dessert! It was very difficult to choose just one, but in the end we went with a chocolate souffle--a light, fluffy, and decadent masterpiece!
