Storybook Stroll

I spent some time in New England over the holidays this year, and I am always stunned by how different the residential areas there look from those in California--brick facades, no fences, and lots of color. These are the types of houses they show in picture books, the types of houses I drew in my childhood sketches, the type of houses that scream 'holidays' (even without snow). I had fun taking strolls through the neighborhood trying to capture some of this magic.
